Ammonia volatilization and agronomical efficiency of a mixture of urea with natural zeolite for rose fertilization

Abstract The objective of this work was to evaluate the losses N-NH3 by volatilization and agronomic efficiency a mixture urea with natural zeolite, as topdressing fertilization, in an area for commercial production roses (Rosa spp.). treatments were: two rates (60 120 kg ha-1), without zeolite. N sources were applied directly soil surface, determined using free semi-open static chamber. quantitative qualitative variables collected flower stems used determine agronomical fertilizers. zeolite reduces 30%, compared fertilizer, shows higher efficiency, resulting increase 25 dozen per each kilogram applied.
